Our Family

We became a part of The Hill Country family in 2012.  Our little angel came into this world in 2014.  His arrival prompted us to become more self sufficient and focus on what really matters in life.  With God, we strive to do our best, to always be helpful and kind, and the best neighbors we possibly can be.

Our first step towards being self sufficient and beginning our homestead, was chickens.  Together We built our first 20ft by 20ft coop in 2019.  Our feathered friends must feel as close to heaven on earth as they possibly could.

Our second step was rabbits.  We love and adore these 17 lb, most precious balls of stress relieving love Leporidae.  We built their hutches by hand ourselves as well, and they are moved to fresh grass every few days.

As of today ducks and honey bees are our latest members to the homestead!  The ducks are so funny and cute, and the bees have almost doubled their hive size since we obtained them.  We are looking forward to years of sharing, with our friends, neighbors and local Hill Country family.
